On the occasion of Heritage Day, in collaboration with the U4 Blast Furnace Park - Agglomeration Community of Val de Fensch, we had the pleasure of welcoming the public to the ArcelorMittal Uckange Digital Lab and showcasing the many technologies of Industry 4.0.
DEFI4 is pleased to accompany ArcelorMittal France on a visit by students from the École nationale des ponts et chaussées. 🎓
This was a great opportunity to introduce them to innovations in digital transformation, notably through our immersive solutions and cockpit 4.0. An enriching moment of exchange around the technologies shaping today's industry!

This event brings together the entire French and European tech community with more than 4,000 founders, investors and innovation leaders. A unique opportunity to present DEFI4’s offering and its mission to support digital and low-carbon transformations.
A new step towards Industry 4.0 training!
DEFI4 is back to work with the creation and animation of a dedicated training for operators, as part of the Certificat de Qualification Paritaire de la Métallurgie - Piloting Automated Production Systems (CQPM PSPA) for our founding member ArcelorMittal France.
DEFI4 Host a Digital week at the ArcelorMittal Basse Indre Site
DEFI4 is invited to the west of France to train and raise awareness among ArcelorMittal employees about Industry 4.0, in a week dedicated to digital, co-organized by the site and the Digital Transformation Department. On the agenda: acculturation sessions on digital transformation, training on collaborative tools, use of virtual reality for electrical lockout, alongside presentations of solutions deployed by the Digital Transformation Department. A hands-on event, which illustrates the deployment capabilities of DEFI4 courses at a national level.
DEFI4 presents its innovative approaches to ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions
DEFI4 is in Reims to raise awareness among ArcelorMittal Distribution's management and employees of the use of immersive solutions in augmented reality training and maintenance procedures. A great opportunity to immerse employees in Industry 4.0.
DEFI4 at Manufacturing Digital Innovation 2024 for a panel on training
Our president Dominique Geeraert had the pleasure of taking part in a panel discussion on the theme of Digital Twins and AI in the context of training, at the Manufacturing Digital Innovation 2024. He was able to evoke the use of virtual reality to train operators, for engineering phases such as workstation optimization, implementation or maintenance of new equipment. It was also an opportunity to show how Industry 4.0 technologies can be used to prepare employees for the jobs of tomorrow.
DEFI4 presents a Virtual Reality safety awareness module at the Vision Zero forum
DEFI4 supported ArcelorMittal Luxembourg at the Vision Zero trade show, by presenting on their stand a Virtual Reality safety awareness module created for the occasion. The solution was rapidly developed and fully adapted to the procedures in force at their Luxembourg sites. A fine example of a tailor-made course, with an engaging and memorable modality.
DEFI4 at Laval Virtual
Our president was invited to a panel discussion on XR for sustainable performance at Laval Virtual.
This was an opportunity to reiterate the value of a shared, locally-rooted approach to acculturation to Industry 4.0 technologies, of which XR is a part.
This is the approach that DEFI4 proposes to all its members to support them in their digital and carbon-free transformation.
