AMESTE The purpose of the Association Mosellane d'Enseignement Scientifique, Technique et Economique (Moselle Association for Scientific, Technical and Economic Education) is to promote scientific, technical and economic education, to facilitate access to these skills and to promote all courses, conferences and resources in this area.

The association was founded on October 27, 1958 by 34 eminent personalities, including Robert SCHUMAN, Member of Parliament for Moselle, Prefect Jean LAPORTE and Professor FORESTIER of the Strasbourg academy, with the aim of developing the skills needed to boost industry in our regions.

For almost half a century, AMESTE set up and managed the CAMOS (Centre Associé Mosellan du Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers), which awarded 2,150 higher education diplomas and 345 engineering degrees.

AMESTE supports vocational training initiatives for young people and adults to meet recruitment needs in jobs in short supply: the aim is to promote scientific and technical training among young people, and to support adults in the transformation of their professions.

In this way, AMESTE contributes to the region's economic growth and the development of its people's skills.
